Online AA Meeting information
The
Online Intergroup (OIAA) lists both
online and email meetings.
There are email
meetings, where the members share via a list server by email, and
'real
time' meetings held in chat or conference rooms.
Other chats: About.com,
Clubhouse Chat, and the Winners
Circle.
Spanish speaking chats:
John
D has a discussion
board, and there are quite a few discussion forums & chats on
Delphi
Forums. Search on alcoholism or recovery for a forum
list.
One of my personal favorites is David
B's Bimini. Other Delphi forums include Ardis M's
Sobriety
for Free and for Fun, Zane C's
Recovered
Alcoholic's Worldwide Network, and Tom & Victoria's
A New
Beginning.
Voice and internet are combined at Sobervoices, who, as I write this, have installed new software.
Online
Alanon Information Service lists email and chat
meetings;
Click on Al-Anon / Alateen to go to their site
AA
World Services and Anonpress
have listings of worldwide phone #’s.
Ron L's SoberPlace
has by far more USA AA meetings listed in one place than any other, and they're
sorted by state with a clickable map. About.com
has state listings, too, and Bill C has “Regional Resources” listed on Recovery.org.
AA
in Europe has an interactive
map. If you're looking for an AA meeting
in the UK, Richard has 'em listed. You can find meeting listings for Vancouver,
Yukon and Hamilton/Burlington/Oakville,
Canada.
It sounds like the X-Files; Andrew sent me the Area
78 AA meetings (Alberta, Canada).
Four
AA members in Canada maintain a page for AA
in Cuba. It's a terrific example of being of service, and it's worth
a read, even if you're not going to Cuba anytime soon.
If you're headed for Korea, you'll be able to find a meeting on the WWW.
Molly
in the UK maintains a list of worldwide
email contacts who'll help you find AA.
The web has
meeting listings in Western
Australia and
Akron, Ohio; from
AA in Paris, France to AA in Paris, Tennessee

While
on the subject of meetings, if
you want to mingle, there’s the

Single
Friends of Bill W. After you meet someone, take a cruise at
Sober
Vacations.
